Welcome
The Mission of Tigers in the Sky is to
showcase the beauty of Tigers. I've always loved Tigers and I was born in the
year of the Tiger. I want to spread the
message that the Tiger must be saved from extinction. It is my hope to
inspire, and motivate visitors to this Web site to make a difference for
Tigers in the wild.
I am a long-time supporter of the 'Adopt a Tiger'
Project of the Hornocker Wildlife Institute that works to protect the
remaining Siberian Tigers in Russia. I was crushed when my
radio-collared tigress Katarina went missing and was later presumed to
have met her death at poachers hands.
The work to save the other Tigers
must continue. I am a proud Zoo parent of an Amur Tiger, Panthera tigris
at the Saint Louis Zoo!
